The club’s May tournament was alternate shot 8-ball. Twelve teams competed. Adrian Lelea and Mary Smith (left) won the most matches while Peter Zeh and Klaus Schroeder finished second.
Adrian Lelea and Tom Bradley won the most alternate shot 10-ball matches on April 15, 2019. And three teams finishing second: Jimmy Di Martino & Kay Mertes, Jan Elliot & Chuck Astleford and Dwight Hildebrand & Nancy Gibbs.
Congratulations to Kay Mertes, winner, and Vicki Bengeult, runner up, who participated in the first QCBC sponsored all-ladies 9-ball tournament on February 28th. They set the bar for future competitive events in the Quail Creek billiards room.
On February 9th the club hosted GVR-West for an 8-ball rematch. The GVR team edged out QCBC 17 games to 16. QCBC hosted Rancho Resort on February 23 and fared better winning 20 8-ball games to 13.
Eight players from each club played called-shot 8-ball on January 12 on the GVR-WEST tables in Green Valley. A very close match this time!
The morning of December 8, 2018 QCBC hosted Rancho Resort for a two-man team 8-ball match. Rancho Resort had 16 wins. QCBC finished with 16 wins. A Tie!
“A good time had by all.” said Dennis Desmond after QCBC visited Green Valley West billiards facility on December 1, 2018. The match score was GVR-WEST 42 and QCBC 22.

On October 20th QCBC hosted an informal 8-ball event where we invited The Billiards Club of Green Valley. Two person teams played nine called-shot 8-ball games. The winning team was Dick Foley and Jim Boie of GVR-West who dominated their table with 7 wins and 3 losses.
