Eight players from each club played called-shot 8-ball on January 12 on the GVR-WEST tables in Green Valley. A very close match this time!

8-Ball Called Shot Event Ends in a Tie
The morning of December 8, 2018 QCBC hosted Rancho Resort for a two-man team 8-ball match. Rancho Resort had 16 wins. QCBC finished with 16 wins. A Tie!
GVR-West Hosts QCBC
“A good time had by all.” said Dennis Desmond after QCBC visited Green Valley West billiards facility on December 1, 2018. The match score was GVR-WEST 42 and QCBC 22.
Ok, so we’re not used to 9 foot tables.
GVR-West Takes 8-Ball Event
On October 20th QCBC hosted an informal 8-ball event where we invited The Billiards Club of Green Valley. Two person teams played nine called-shot 8-ball games. The winning team was Dick Foley and Jim Boie of GVR-West who dominated their table with 7 wins and 3 losses.

Billiard Room Pool Tables Upgraded
On August 5th The Quail Creek Billiards Club and the Quail Creek POA completed a major upgrade to the billiards room amenity. Three new professional quality eight-foot Diamond pool tables were installed. New balls, chairs, chair rails, bridges, cabinet, shelves, racks, covers and cues have also been added.
Peter Zeh, QCBC President, said, “Our club members, the POA and the people at Diamond really came together to make something incredible happen. The tables are top quality and make us step up our game. With three tables we get more play time during our tournaments and regular group events.”
